Lindsay Lohan
has upset residents of the Los Angeles rehab facility she
checked into earlier this month because they claim she's
treating the facility like a hotel.
The fellow troubled souls seeking counselling and solace at the
Wonderland center are upset with Lohan's trips out of the
facility - and the fact she's being allowed to continue working
on her new movie while in rehab.
The final straw reportedly came last week when the Mean Girls
star took a break from rehab to have her Mercedes serviced and
shop.
Sources at Wonderland have aired their grievances to news web
site Tmz.com, claiming the actress is getting special treatment.
They also tell the site Lohan has a masseur, hairstylist and
makeup artist, who visit her regularly.
But the actress' publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, insists Lohan
is taking rehab seriously, and the criticism is unwarranted.
She says, "Lindsay is 100 per cent not getting special
treatment. She's getting the same as everyone else. This isn't
the Betty Ford Clinic, it's not a lockdown facility. There is
personal time.
"All these naysayers who keep blogging and speaking out... they
don't know what she's going through, they're not there. They
shouldn't speak until they've gone through something like that." |

Lindsay Lohan
will not be allowed to leave her rehab facility to attend the
premiere of her new movie at the Sundance Film Festival.
Media reports claimed the 20-year-old was taking a break from
her treatment to attend the famous film festival, only days
after checking herself in.
The actress' new film, Chapter 27, also starring rumored
ex-boyfriend Jared Leto, is being shown at the festival in Park
City, Utah.
Lohan's spokesperson, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, tells E! Online
that the star is staying put at the exclusive Wonderland Center
in the Hollywood Hills for now. |

film new movie I KNOW WHO KILLED ME. The MEAN GIRLS star checked
herself into the Wonderland Centre in Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles
for 30 nights last week (18JAN07), but she'll spend her days in
downtown LA shooting the new thriller before returning to rehab
each night. Her publicist LESLIE ZELNICK confirms, "She will
continue working but will spend her nights at the recovery
facility." |

has checked into rehab, claims Reuters.
"I have made a proactive decision to take care of my personal
health. I appreciate your well wishes and ask that you please
respect my privacy at this time," said the actress in a
statement issued Wednesday through her publicist, Leslie Sloane
Zelnick.
Us Weekly reports that Lohan entered the posh Wonderland Center
in Los Angeles at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, arriving in a sports
utility vehicle and clutching a Jamba Juice. |

Lindsay Lohan
has been warned by doctors that she is suffering from liver
damage and could face serious health consequences if she doesn't
curb her drinking.
The Mean Girls star underwent an emergency appendectomy on
January 4, 2007, the latest in a long list of medical ailments
the young star has suffered in the past few years.
A source tells American publication National Enquirer, "The
appendectomy was routine, but what doctors discovered in her
blood work was not.
"Lindsay's liver panel shows her drinking is taking a terrible
toll on her health. Her liver enzymes are extremely elevated."
The high levels of two particular liver enzymes indicate that
some of Lohan's liver cells are damaged and are leaking these
enzymes into her blood.
In addition to the raised enzymes, the star is also reportedly
suffering from extremely low levels of protein in her liver.
A source adds doctors "couldn't believe she was even walking

in New York have told Lindsay Lohan that they want her to run
for public office.
New York State Independence Party officials have contacted the
Mean Girls actress and party girl about the possibility of
starting a career in politics in 2009.
"Many celebrities have made the transition from Hollywood to
politics," party leader Frank Morano explained in a letter to
the star. "Few, if any, though, had the enormous potential that
you possess."

hospital on Friday morning (05JAN07). According to veteran
Hollywood gossip columnist JANET CHARLTON, Lohan was seen
dancing with BLINK 182 drummer TRAVIS BARKER until 5am Saturday
morning at a West Hollywood party. Lohan was also seen drinking
a clear substance from a water bottle and smoking in between
dances. |

wasting time on the love scene. In fact, he has already gone
after one of Britney's new pals - 20-year-old actress Lindsay
Lohan.
Less than a month after the 'Toxic' singer was spotted out
partying with Lohan, Federline wanted to join the fun. And the
'Playing With Fire' rapper wannabe sent a text message to the
party girl, suggesting, "We should hang out."
But, according to Us Weekly, Lindsay was less than thrilled
about the chance to hang out with her pal's estranged hubby.
"She was totally grossed out," Us Online quoted a Lohan pal, as
saying.
To which another added, "She thought it was hilarious."
However, Federline didn't appreciate Lohan's "Why would I hang
out with you?" reply, and fired back, calling her a "firecrotch."
Sources believe it was basically K-Fed's attempt to get under
Britney's skin, which Lohan spurned.
"She couldn't believe he was so pathetic. She doesn't want him

were spotted chatting it up on New Years Day in Miami.
The couple were spotted sitting near the pool at the Delano
hotel in Miami, where both were in town to celebrate New Year's
Eve, TMZ.com reported Tuesday.
A source said that Lohan saw Valdarrama and called to him as he
walked by. The two then took some time to catch up as the year
dwindled away.
They looked happy but the chance of a reunion is probably slim,

State Independence Party (NYSIP) to run for local government in
2009.
The NYSIP's Frank Morano believes Lohan could bid for New York
City Public Advocate--a position next in line to the
mayor--which links the electorate and city government.
Morano writes, "As Albany is currently a cesspool of corruption,
badly in need of reform, you may also want to consider a bid for
the state legislature.

politics, ranging from Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jesse Ventura
